Our guest house sits at the top of our driveway in a small, rural Canadian neighborhood. As a guest at Sanctuary Retreat & Rocky Mountain Buffalo Ranch you have private access to our ranch, 80 acres with waterfront on the Blaeberry river, spectacular 360 degree views, buffalo and other wildlife viewing, wetlands, forests, meadows, year-round creek, trout pond, walking trails, tipi, and wood fired sauna access.
We are 45 minutes from famous Lake Louise, 1.5 hours from Banff. We are surrounded by National Parks. Enjoy the Canadian Rockies without the crowds. We are also 35 minutes from Kicking Horse Mountain Ski Resort, famous for champange powder!
